Froggie Went a Courtin' - Animation by Frank Gladstone 1977 with new words by Frank Gladstone, Arranged by Oz Bach and performed by Spooner Summit members: Oz Bach, Kevin Hurley, Ned Frields, and Jonas Goldstein. Voices, Oz Bach, Marcie Rauer and Steve Gladstone. This animated short won a local emmy in Miami in 1977 and was aired on Cinemax and Nickelodeon in the early 1980s.

  • We never got to see the whole thing at the time and did not have a copy. Years later, Frank gave me a tape of it and apologized for the fact the colors of the original gels had faded. He said he hoped some day to "restore" it. I am just grateful to have this copy!!! I have had it copied to DVD because tapes don't last forever either!

  • Oz told me about this when he introduced me to Frank in Miami. Several years later, the cartoon showed up on Cinemax and Nikelodeon. My aunt called me to tell me about it because she had seen it with Oz's name coming up at the end all over the credits. On investigation, we learned it had won an Emmy!
