Pregnancy Vlog #6 18 weeks

Here is my 18 week update

***FORGOT TO MENTIONS***
As of 07/29 i have not gained any weight my pregnancy i have lost a total of 17 pounds since finding out i was pregnant

I never mentioned that i am due between 12/24 and 12/30

***Other Notes***

Accoring to the book "your pregnancy week by week" and "what to expect when you are expecting" the months of a pregnancy run as follows

Weeks 0-4 = Month 1
weeks 4-8 = Month 2
Weeks 8-12 = Month 3
Weeks 12-16 = Month 4
Weeks 16-20 = Month 5
Weeks 20-24 = Month 6
Weeks 24-28 = Month 7
Weeks 28-32 = Month 8
Weeks 32-36 = Month 9
Weeks 36-40 = Month 10

for a total of 40 weeks of pregnancy :o)

***Week 18***
By pregnancy week 18 your baby's heart is developed enough to show some signs of defects. Ultrasound may be used to help detect any structural abnormalities that might exist. Most babies will be born without any congenital abnormalities. If an early ultrasound does detect something abnormal, you can plan ahead for any interventions or surgeries that may be necessary to support your newborn baby after birth. At pregnancy week 18 your baby is now starting to produce a protective covering along the nerves, called Myelin. This substance will be produced through the ninth month. By now your baby's genitals should be distinguishable, though you may not yet have the opportunity to view them at your health care practitioner's office.

I am 18 weeks today and I was wondering if you had experinceing any vaganial disconfort and was it normal if you could let me know this is my first pregnnacy and it is all new to me thanks

i think that it should just be 1 way.. not well you are 18 weeks but really 4 1/2 month but really you in your 5th month.. geeze talk about a headache lol!! thanks for the comment!! you offically are my longest comment haha

thats what i thought 2!! but the books i have basically explain it like this.. normal gestation is about 40 weeks which divided by the typical 4 weeks in a month is 10 months gestation not the 9... however that is why OBs & most people go by "weeks pregnant" not months because depending on where u look then u will find different "guides" on each month.... even in "what to expect book" it shows month 5 starting at 17 weeks... check out my descript of how im doing it... it is ALL so confusin lol

I also wanted to mention tht you said I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant now. Your 4 1/2 months pregnant now but your in your 5 month in 2 weeks you will be 5 months and you will be in your 6 month. Sounds confusing I know but I'm 22 weeks and I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant and in my 6 month and in 2 weeks i will be 6 months and in my 7 month of pregnancy hope this isn't confusing:)
