We enlarged the d-touch drum machine (http://www.d-touch.org/ so that it might be usable in a classroom group setting at an elementary school. This is a short video outlining the basics and showing a trio of graduate students playing with the d-touch for the first time.
Method: we enlarged the board by printing it on 8.5 x 11 paper, taking it to Kinko's and paying $5 to get it enlarged. The board was measured, and the pieces proportionally enlarged (using Adobe InDesign).
Project by Jennifer Wetzel-Thomas and Matthew Thibeault. This video also features Jenina Kenessey and Greg Schwaegler. Completed as part a summer music education technology project (UIUC MUS 447). Video shot (quickly) and edited (kinda) by Matthew Thibeault.
