"A Taste of Stew" 2007

By popular demand, this is a shortened version of a one camera audience recording from a special Stew NYC Central Park Performance 9-30-07. Stew is a remarkable artist who for a time was releasing two albums per year; one fronting his band, The Negro Problem plus a solo effort. The past few years were spent refining & performing his award winning Broadway Musical, Passing Strange.
The tunes include excerpts of songs from both his albums & the musical.

Thanks fro your comments.  I never edited the entire nearly 3 hour concert to a final production. The original final Edit was about 25 minute & included more complete versions of the songs on this uTube Version plus a few more song excerpts. But Tube wants clips no longer than 10 minutes uploaded, hence the editing this go round.

Dudley, i love you for putting these videos up. i have seen stew many times over the years and this was the best performance ever for me. you should have included "the chord change rap" from rehab, it's always hysterical.

This is amazing. Is there any possible way that I can get a copy of the concert that you filmed? Or at least the final edit? Stew is one of my favorite songwriters and I'd love to see this show.
