@therudeboy77 Which was probably controversial on multiple levels. In a dark-lit decade like the 80's anything light and cheery, even neon, was considered to be undermining the establishment's authority. So to have an anti-hero be a boy scout would be above and beyond hoy palloy indignation. Had this been released even a year or two before it'd probably have had a fan in Andy Warhol.

lol i swear to god that bruno guy is my history teacher i didnt believe what i saw until i asked him and he confirmed it by showing me the credits his name is john allen he's a history teacher at hp baldwin high school in maui, i wouldnt have excpected it

As with the other comment....thank you so much for posting!! Like I said before would love for someone to release this on DVD! Great comic book movie!! For those thinking it should be darker in tone...that why Miller's version/vision is such a nice contrast to this. Don't think it was aimed at kids though...fans...yes.

@rsurvivorvereda Eisner's comic strips had a dark shadowy film noir look and were made for an adult audience. While we see a bit here at night, this is lighter over all and obviously made more for kids.
