I have never been affected by a cd more than The Pleasure and The Pain! Thought I had lost it -- found it a month later in another cd case! I have listened to it every night since! I need more info on the band!

Yep. Like 'The Origin' (a California band from around the same time) there are a hundred bands out there with the same name.
iTunes has one or two of the CD's for download, including The Pleasure & The Pain, with two tracks not on the original US CD release (which I have preserved my copy of).
Thanks for the video posting...if I can just find 'Shine Blue Lady' I'll be happy!

Absolutely. If you're thinking of visiting, though, you might want to get a coat, eh? It's pretty cold up here.

I haven't seen or heard these songs for over 20 years. I've tried searching online but no sucess. Thank you!!! I saw these guys in Halifax in July 1990: they sounded just like you hear them here on Youtube. The Box are truly a part of Canadian history and culture.

:) Glad I could share. I love finding unknown music - so much better than top 40 stuff. harder to do today with all the used CD stores going away
