This is a video of a "Freehand" (No mechanical tools used) technique for "Venom" (Side by side) tongue piercings.

It's a completely acceptable, arguably more gentle way to do a tongue piercing. My clients have reported less swelling and discomfort after having their tongue pierced without clamps. Furthermore, piercing slowly allows for tissue to move as it needs to around the needle as it passes through rather than forcing/tearing it through at warp speed.
Freehand piercing are often "slower" than clamped piercings but ensure better accuracy (this is my opinion, of course) While this video was taken (yes, by an idiot) years ago when I was first teaching myself this technique, the piercings go a bit slower than I can do them these days.

I've been piercing three or four years longer than since this video was taken and I'll note that I've cleaned up the procedure as well as my aseptic technique.

My apologies for the idiot behind the camera. (And for presuming there was no audio for the video. LOL!)
And thanks to my sister Jaime for being brave and drooling all over the internet! :)

Please note that this is not a How to Pierce a Tongue video. It's only a showcase of my particular procedure.
There isn't a "right or wrong" way to do any body piercing, really, as long as it's clean and safe for the piercer and the client AND **IMPLANT GRADE** body jewelry is used.

  • da fuck i couldnt even see the finished results !!! D: you really need a new camera guy !!

  • pierced the first one really slow..

  • @ItsGoodToGiveIn the placement is done by where your veins are. They will choose the spot best to avoid hitting the veins. No ones placement is ever the same.
