Sel: *Watches after him. How could he not understand why she was acting like this? How did he not have the problems swirling around his head, all of them pointing to one simple element: Heartbreak*

*later on in the hallway*

Nick: *opens his locker at the end of school and sees a note lying on top of his books. Confused, he opens it up and reads:

*finishes reading it with a smile on his face, instantly knowing who it was from*

Sel: *watching his reaction without his acknowledgment before walking out the front doors of the school*

Nick: *doesnt see her and follows her path a few minutes later*

Sel: *already at the boys school*

Frankie: *running towards her with Jake close behind* Selly! Can we go out to eat?

Jake: *enthusiastic* yeah, can we?

Sel: *bends down in front of them and smiles* sure, guys.

Frankie: *hugs her excitedly*

Sel: *laughing and hugs back*

Jake: *puts his arms around both of them and joins in*

Nick: *walks up to them, smiling* hey gang, whats going on?

*everyone pulls away*

Jake: Were going to get something to eat. Now come on, im hungry *grabs Sels hand and pulls her down the street with him and the boys*

Nick: *Walking behind with Frankie* So where are we actually going?

Frankie: *shrugs* Sel?

Sel: Anyone up for ice-cream?

Jake: *laughs* oh yeah! Lets go.

*that night*

Sel: *in the boys room* night, guys. Sleep well *turns off the lights and walks downstairs*

Nick: *in his room, hears her shut the boys bedroom door and follows her downstairs*

Sel: *lying on the sofa, staring into space in silence*

Nick: *watches her from the door for a few seconds before going and sitting on the floor in front of her* nice poem...
