{an angel descends on wings of fire}

In the Bardo Thodol, known as the Tibetan Book Of The Dead, "The Liberation Through Hearing During the Intermediate State" is recited by lamas over a dying or recently deceased person, or sometimes over an effigy of the deceased. It is in three parts, or Bardos. The chikhai bardo or "bardo of the moment of death," begins "O nobly-born [name], listen. Now thou art experiencing the Radiance of the Clear Light of Pure Reality."

  • Beautiful man. Reminds me a bit of Mathias Grassow. The theremin sounds really rich in this one. Audio heaven.

  • Grassow! High praise indeed. :-)

    (A lot of it is down to my marshall echohead pedal sweeping a filter over the repeats.)

  • Wow! This sounds great! Nice music to do some meditation on it! Though, it's quite haunty in some ways and this reminds me a bit on an OBE I once had in 1996 ... Though, the sounds are warm and cool!
