A veterinary student from France interns at Tucson Wildlife Center, in Tucson, Arizona, in the summer of 2011. For this installment in his "Tucson Wildlife Center: On Camera" film series, director Marcus De Leon, in working with Marie, was influenced by the black-and-white aesthetics of the French New Wave cinema movement of the 1960s. Tucson-based composer and French-born Naim Amor (amormusic.com) performs a beautiful Southwest-meets-
France music score he wrote specifically for this film.

  • Marie, it was so nice meeting you and having you here for three weeks! I'm glad you enjoyed your experience with Tucson Wildlife Center. You are so sweet; I wish you best of luck in your veterinary career!

  • Marie, you are the best french vet student ! Ce petit film est super... ce serait génial qu'il incite d'autres étudiants véto à aller au TWC...
