Colonial Anthem, Adama Family Theme, & Roslin and Adama

3/22/09 - In honor of last week's incredible series finale of the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica, I decided to play a medley of musical themes from the show. First up is a brief run-through of "Colonial Anthem," the main theme of the original series; next is the theme of the Adama family, a musical motif Bear McCreary first composed for the episode "The Hand of God"; and last but not least is of course the ever-romantic "Roslin and Adama." :)

I learned these themes entirely by ear, so I do not have any sheet music.

That's incredible, especially the 2nd piece. I think it's actually called "Wander My Friends," not the Adama Family Theme.

@tron81 Well I'm going by how Bear McCreary named the musical motifs on his blog. He uses his theme for the Adama family in many tracks in the soundtracks, including and most notably in "Wander My Friends" and "A Good Lighter."

My little girl has been trying to figure out the original BSG by ear, because we haven't been able to find music that wasn't for the whole orchestra. Would you email me a picture of your music?
