what is the time table to change the springs of the mags, or rotate?

i somewhat agree with your comment about carrying a rifle, but be it that i live in Florida we are allowed to conceal weapon(S)...many rifle choices are (or can be configured to be) compact enough to fit in a regular sized gym bag or backpack. i plan on carrying a pistol-caliber carbine in my backpack along with a handgun. all-in-all in some ways you're right, but a book bag/backpack and or gym bag is just as inconspicuous in nature as that small carry bag you have there. good vid tho

David, at least here in Arkansas. If you have a loaded pistol in your car, such as this bag you show, and you get stopped by Law Enforcement. This will equate to direct trip to jail! It is considered a weapon. You can carry the pistol, in open view in the car, but the ammo must be in the trunk. I'm sure all states have different laws concerning firearms transport.

Just a thought, wouldn't a few maps and compass, maybe gps be worth more than just one of the extra mags? Better to avoid a gunfight and nobody knows everything between you and home, I'd think some good maps to know where your at and things you'd want to avoid should be in a get home bag, a good topo map would show streams, old mines, ect. maybe 2 emergency blankets also, 2 plastic ponchos?

Thanks for your advice! I always look forward to your videos!

an M-4 with the stock closed fits in a soft shell guitar case. Doesnt cause much attention walking down the street. AK's wit a fold stock fit in a large gym bag well. the Kel Tek sub 2000 fits in a large messenger bag or school size backpack....just some thoughts.

Definitely good advice, thank you for sharing!

@Timisso1337 also, just because a police officer cannot legally search a car does not mean he will not. I suggest filming any stops to keep all parties accountable. Make sure the officer knows that its being filmed and preferably streamed on the internet. It should give him some incentive to play by the rules.
I have a similar bag, with a firearm and ammo, but I also have a bunch of first aid stuff, like bandages, quickclot, salts, do you think that stuff is important, or get rid of it?

@Bingstock that stuff is important. I carry that stuff in a bug out bag. This bag is just basically weapons. So I can take it out of vehicle and not have to worry about it being stolen or one of my kids driving that vehicle and being under age to have a pistol.

After reading the comments for this video, I realize most people missed the point of this second bag concept.
His Get Home Bag approach is to remove the weapons and ammo from his survival gear bag that's not seen on this video. He also uses the weapons bag as a small admin pouch.
He still has his Get Home Bag in his vehicle with all the survival supplies to get back home but with no firearms, ammo. That bag stays in the vehicle so his kids have use of the Get Home Bag but not the Weapons Bag.

@ajdux Thanks....You dont want your underage kids pulled over and they find a pistol in the vehicle. It will not go good for them if they get a police officer that is being over zealous.

You dont have any food in it, but ammo enough to make you last a long time in a hollywood shootout?;-)

@pkbjorn35 yes this goes with my bug out bag or the bag I keep in the vehicle. Its in its own bag so I can remove it from the vehicle so it will not get stolen and into the wrong hands. If they steal the cars bug out bag no problem.
