Muhammad Atif with Sukhwinder Singh on Urdu VOA

Sukhwinder Singh is an Indian singer most famous as a Bollywood playback singer. His greatest success is arguably the song "Chaiyya Chaiyya" for 1998 film Dil Se. This song "Walk in the Shadow") composed by A. R. Rahman was also taken in the the Hollywood movie 'Inside Man' for which he won the 'Best Male Playback' award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards in India. Sukhwinder Singh is one of the most in-demand singers in Bollywood. He first performed on stage at the age of 7. In this interview with VOA's Muhammad Atif, Sukhwinder Singh said he is going to be working in a movie about "Lahore" Pakistan.
