@Krankthat22 Thanks dude. I appreciate the pointers, I looked up online and a lot of people said to use the nail of your pointer finger on downstrokes and the fleshy part of the finger on upstrokes.
Still, it's very comforting to know that there's no "true" way to strum. I appreciate it, keep up the great work!

Your tutorials are amazing! I just recently got myself a Ukulele and I'm loving it!
However, I do have 1 question for you... I'm having trouble strumming it... I use my thumb but that doesn't seem to be the case for most players I see on YouTube. What's the best method?

@AMP1317 haha yea i feel ya. most the time i strum with my pointer finger. but i can strum pointer on the down, thumb on the up, or all three middle fingers down thumb on the up.... they are all just different sounds. there isnt really a "right" way to strum because different strums make diff sounds. but i suggest using ur pointer finger and thumb and find a happy median.
