Also even tho.ugh there are still a lot of poor people in China, things have dramatically improved for many Chinese over the last few decades, and the number of Chinese millionares are increasing every year. So stop looking down on Chinese people, after all the olympic committee would have never given China the olympics, if they didn't have the cash.

While I do partially agree with your sentiment, I still think you are missing the point of what the olympics is all about. Like all major sporting events, the olympics gives the host nation the chance to promote itself on the international stage. It's like a tourism video, no country would put their faults on a self-promotion video would they? (cont).

They can still make money, there are 1.3 billion potential visitors, trust me every chinese wants to visit it. Plus foreign visitor would want to visit too. so if you do the math, theres still 10 billion US dollars to be made just by people visiting it.

@stealthpakfa When did this video ever say otherwise? Idiot.

more western propaganda by western media. yes aljazeera is puppet western media.
china won the 2008 olympics with 51 golds.

they spent massive amounts of money while much of their population lives in poverty not so much for the olympics as much as it was to say to the world " here we are , look at us " it's all about those in charge showing off
