In regard to the sound comments below, the old cars had a higher pitch scream because a different exhaust system was used back then. The size of the restrictor plate has nothing to do with it. The penske dodges use a different exhaust from most teams now and if you listen closely to them when they're by themselves, they sound like the old cars :)

@IkusaGT Actually I think the sound has to do with the gearing - they're turning far more RPMs now than they did in 2003.

The sound has nothing to do with the COT it has to do with the restrictor plate. The plates on the cars in this video were larger than the ones today
