Music from the concert by Nigel North on 1 July at the 2010 Lute Society of America Summer Seminar and Lute Festival at Case Western Reserve University. The Sarabande is a movement of a Sonata found in an undated manuscript; however, since it employs only 11 courses, it was most likely composed before 1719. The eleven-course lute Nigel plays is based on a design by Hans Frei and was built by Lars Jonsonn in 2005. Posted with permission of the performer. More information at:
