Goals were scored by Ken Danekyo, Pat Verbeek, and John Mclean(2). A huge hit by Pat Verbeek and plenty of amazing saves by the rookie goaltender, Sean Burke.

Gary Thorne is such a great announcer, the Devils have been lucky to have both Gary Thorne AND Mike Emerick as their play by play guys over the years.

@azbaldy5 John MacLean might have been the only player still remaining from that 1988 run that won the Stanley Cup in New Jersey in 1995.
