I was thinking the same thing just yesterday... As someone who considers himself a centrist what I have discovered is that the radical right is slowly becoming the mainstream right. It's sad really because some have good ideals. For the power elite, rational is more power and money at any cost. As for those who follow, they are brainwashed and lead by those who have figured it out e.g. radio talk shows and cable news (on both sides) and are capitalizing on it

We are living in such crazy times.. Had it not been for this battle on health care reform I never would have realized that I am surrounded by idiots. How can any rational person oppose the public option?
