As a kid, I couldn't wait for Nintendo 64 to launch. I was quite the nerdy fanboy, if I do say so myself. I wrote PLAY IT LOUD with white-out on my backpack to support the SNES back in the early to mid 1990's. Remember that being their slogan at the time? I sure do.

I bet you remember: "Get N or Get Out" I'm sure you do.

Anyway, as a Nintendo purist, I defended them no matter what... but it was difficult to do so when Nintendo 64 struggled to compete with the Sony Playstation. No matter what, I loved the system.

Here, I talk about a defunct Next Generation Magazine issue, which I consider infamous, and how correct its forecast on the N64 was... and more importantly, how wrong it turned out to be.

  • I always enjoyed N64 more fun for multiplayer golden eye 007 and perfect dark ooh yeah, and the classic n64 wwf wrestling games, The Psx was awesome for resident evil three still one of the most scary as fuck games of all time, i think it should be remade for the ps3 and 360.

  • @linusII

But the thing is that it practically asked you to defy the laws of human evolution to play it, you practically need 3 arms to play it especially with that awful z button placement.

  • @DancingMadRB3 Yeah it's not really comfortable but it added a lot to the games

  • @BanjoAndConkerDDR GC is good

  • PS1 was the first system to have a rumble function not the N64

  • As far as N64 vs. GameCube goes, that's a tough one, N64 had better games, GameCube defenetly had a better controller and I think the system was designed better, but I also think N64 had a better color selection (Pickachu edition, Funtastix series.) As far as N64 vs. PSX is concerned, PSX's CDs were cheaper than N64's cartridges and they held more data. Controlller on the PSX was better than N64, although not as good as GCN, but N64 had better graphics and better games.

  • @papermariodude101 im not a fanboy of any system but you blame the playstation for internet trolls...

  • @Zsayvee93 U.S. law doesn't permit me to marry my N64. It's discrimination, I tell ya...

  • i agree thay guy has too much time on his hands i think he wants to marry that fuckin thing and screw it

  • my grandmother gave me a n64 and i think imma play it to death
