Last orders for Drinking on the Tube.

Six London Underground stations were closed as trouble flared when thousands of people marked the banning of alcohol on London transport with a party.

Four tube drivers, three other staff members, and two police officers were assaulted, and there were 17 arrests.

Several trains were damaged and withdrawn from service, which led to suspended services.

Drinkers gathered on Tube trains and station concourses for a last drink before the ban came in at midnight.

Police said what should have been a fun event came to an "unfortunate" end.

Some days I finish work, I have one or two in the pub and then I might buy six or eight cans for later (not every day, lololol). But yeah, an hour and half to travel, what harm am I doing by having a can on the tube and another on the bus to keep myself occupied? It's bollocks. Drunken rowdy behaviour is obviously unacceptable, but "drinking"...? On the bus, they pull me up for drinking one can... then eight pissheads get on and riot, and the driver ain't got the balls to say anything to them

Why do you have to drink alcholic drinks in any subway system - that's not a bar on wheels. Can't ban drinking completely - US tried that and failed big time. Even New York City doesn't permit drinking in public places.

Get drunk in your house dont get drunk outside where you can hurt someone... so yeah The alcohol must be banned in all countries outside of your house..
