Marian, a long-time disaster action team volunteer for the American Red Cross, drives the emergency response vehicle around the area where a tornado hit a Minneapolis neighborhood on August 19, 2009. She says that being a DAT volunteer is fun and rewarding.
I've been with the Red Cross since about 1972. I love seeing people come together locally and nationally to help each other during a disaster. It's the best, hardest, and the most rewarding job you'll never get paid money for!
