I don't see how Chris did a bad job. He was a little bit ahead of the beat. Who cares? They were really good vocals. It was pitch-perfect. Just because he didn't do any stupid fancy shit, doesn't mean it wasn't good. It was simple, which is how singing should sound with that kind of music.
