don't you think Ray as a little "too much" tools to use in a SURVIVAL program?

@mgiar. Oh! I stand corrected! I always thought it meant that there was no fresh water source to be found. Like in the Tom Hanks movie Castaway. But then again, since it was uninhabited it was still called a "Desert Island". I suppose the reason islands are uninhabited is because there is no fresh water source. But you are 100% correct! Desert Island does mean "uninhabited". So I wonder what people are thinking when the write "uninhabited desert island" :) it's redundant :) funny
Thanks

5:05 Am I the only one feeling nervous?

Obviously, Ray Mears doesn't know how to easily open a coconut. He needs more practice.

Does he have a soccer ball named Wilson too?

How did i get here? I watched Minecraft videos!!!!!!!!
Ray Mears: To open the coconut you have to strike smartly on the top of it's skull
Coconut: :o
I think I've anthropomorphized the coconut too much... A critical mistake in a survival situation.

@glynnt54 A desert island simply means any island that does not have a fresh water supply. It is possible to be on a desert island in the tropics.. I agree with you... it would be much easier to survive in a tropical desert island rather than a desert :)
