As the Esrth rotates around our Sun [our Planet] it is not parallel but inclined at an angle of 23.5 degrees to the vertical - thus as our Earth goes around the Sun it tilts TOWARDS our Sun in the Northern Hemisphere [opposite in the Southern Hemisphere] - MAXIMUM TILT is on the SUMMER SOLSTICE - June 21st - and then 6 months later MAXIMUM TILT away from the Sun [opposite in the Southern Hemisphere] on 22nd December on the WINTER SOLSTICE.
Precisely 3 days later there is an appreciable increase in the altitude of the Sun by 1 degree! As from the Northern Hemisphere on the Earth the SUN appears to be Reborn or to resurrect!
This can be understood as an anthropomorphisation in the New Testament as an Allegory or a Cosmic Astronomical Allusion comparing Symbolic Man to his Astral Environment as between our Planet in our Solar System and our Star.

In ancient Egypt - this cosmology was done with Sirius [Isis the mother star - the Dog Star of Nimrod] Orion [as Orionis or Orion's belt] and Horus or the Sun or Son of "God".

[Where "God" was identified as the 'Creative Force of the Universe'!]

The seasons are not caused by the rotation of Earth around it's axis. Seasons are caused by the tilt of Earth as it revolves around the sun.

This appears to be Summer in the southern hemisphere and winter in the northern. I'm confused. This is only one revolution. The seasons take much longer to change.
