The ending of this movie was so perfect. Wouldn't have mentioned it but seeing as there are 2 spoilers already another won't hurt. Anyhow *SPOILER ALERT*
It was just the way it dragged you into thinking it was gunna have this really nice happy ending where everything works out (which strangely, would have worked) but then it's like LOL JK Fuck you.

kind of a wierd movie IMO. it was good but there was no surprises/climax at all. ending was also wierd were they drive far away to some random town. and then cut back to him still being in the car, which i guess means he went to jail instead of trying to run.

Just read the book since watching the movie. I really enjoyed this movie, and the book really reflected how well they kept with the story (not surprising since David Benoff write the script based off his novel). It was never meant to be a 9-11 themed film but it worked so well against that backdrop. Both the Bathroom/hatred monologue is in the book, but the book's far more ambigous, whereas the movie shows what really happens at the end (he goes to jail).
