Def keep posting them, very interesting view of Japan which we don't often see on youtube

Ah they are available part by part, so I can really customize to specific detail which is pretty cool. Not sure about the price difference but maybe a teeny bit cheaper than they are over there as I've heard everything else cost a lot more in that place. For comparison the price of a 2.8 GHz Intel Core2 Duo here is P5,600 about +/- $115

The ticket gates were still manual at Hibarigaoka, but yeah - it's basically the same. It's not in this particular video, but Hibarigaoka Station was rebuilt between when I took this and 2008. - LHS

Great videos. The more like a field recording, the better! Reality expresses itself best in ephemera like this. Good good stuff.

Thanks! There's a bit more random than I'd like, but in any case, the purpose was to show (somewhat) how things appear in different places in Tokyo (with some videos from other areas). - LHS

Make "there's a bit..." they're a bit...." - sorry for the typo. - LHS

I'll watch any videos you post Lyle. They're always very well filmed and fun to watch.
My wife went to Giyu Gakuen school and took this train daily back in the day.

Thanks!! Jiyu-gakuen! That didn't sink in right away, but that was just across the tracks from where I lived (in Hibarigaoka) for 16 years! A student there once took me on a walking tour of the campus. It's a nice campus, with lots of trees... - LHS
