think about it in utopia martha mentions the face of boe's dying words and jack dosent flinch at all at that statement, that should be a clue to the fact that he isnt the face of boe

I have to wonder if the Face of Boe is the result of Jack being decapitated at some point in his future, much like Dorian was. Even losing his head (literally) wouldn't kill him.

@nathand3 captain jack became immortal when rose saw into the heart of the tardis and brought him back from dead. and he was called Face of boe, because he was the first time agent at this boeblablabla where he lived. he said, he ages, how hell look in billon of years, and that they called him face of boe. so yeah, he himself told us that he is face of boe.

A lot of people are saying that Jack cannot die since he is immortal. We don't know for a fact that what Rose did made Jack truly immortal. For all we know, it probably just made it ridiculously hard for him to die. But this is 5 billion years. I am not surprised if he shows mortality after all that time. Besides, to us humans, 5 billion years kinda feels like forever (hence the "live forever" part). Even to the doctor (1000 years) and rory (2000 years), it feels like forever.
