@Cam1092 I used to get to sit in with Steve Gaines, and he was gettiing me an audition with Skynard.. Steve said, Polly, the way you are singing, there is NO way they won't hire you ! Three weeks later, he was gone ! My piano player, Annie Walser, (Annie P. Annie) played with him, a bunch....they grew up in Miami, OK..... it was a devastating blow to all of us ! @TBird5790 1. R.Stone voted Duane #2 best guitarist of all time 2. Listen to Goin Down Slow- Duane Allman 3. Check out: Aretha Franklin featuring Duane Allman 4. He was not JUST a slide blues player: He was a MASTER on dobro as well(even taught Clapton).5. That A-M-A-Z-I-N-G human being could play anything w/ stings attached to it.

Man, I just love, love Bonnie's voice. For pure listening pleasure (for me) it's a toss-up between Bonnie Bramlett and Dusty Springfield. Janis is a very close third. Thanks for sharing.
