He's doin a breathing technique its called the HIC technique I dunno if thats how its spelled but its so they dont black out during the short radius turns and high G maneuvers they also do it cause they dont wear G-suits.

Another thing a lot of people don't realize is that these guys are pulling more than 7 G's with no G-suits to keep them from blacking or redding out. Their maneuvers are so precise that the suits interfere with the pilot's control of the stick when they inflate. That takes a special kind of control and months of additional training.

Gotta say the Blue Angels do a killer job at airshows. But the Red Arrows shouldn't be dismissed so easily, they fly Hawks with no fly by air, computer assisted flight stuff so its all in the pilot's skills. The reason they fly Hawks is cos the UK cant afford to give them front line aircraft... Oh and on a side note, the US has the F22, they wouldn't even WANT the eurofighter
