Toyota Corolla 5A-FE Full Redline - 7000RPM

This is my 1993 Toyota Corolla AE100 with a 1.5L fuel injected 5A-FE engine. It's getting a new engine put in tomorrow, so I decided to give the old engine a bit of torture before it gets taken out.

The engine in this video has done 228,000km (141,000 miles), and smokes a tiny bit on start-up due to the valve guides wearing out, it also needs the cambelt replaced - So I decided it was easier to chuck another 5AFE in it that has only done 60,000km (37,000 miles) and replace the cambelt at the same time.

@jbeer82 As mentioned in my video description, the engine was being scrapped, therefore it was no use to anybody else. Might as well rev it to redline before it gets melted down. Some people suggested doing burnouts in it, but that would have been a real waste due to tire and clutch wear.

@SkyThunder1 I agree, however it's better than a blown engine ;). The 5A-FE and 4A-FE engines don't make any power after about 5000rpm anyway, so going beyond the rev limiter in terms of performance is pointless.

Guys....how come my rolla ae100 having the same 5A-FE engine redlines at 5200rpm ?? BTW...mines a JDM model and is a manual tranny (C50) and the top speed is probably limited to 180km/h cuz dat wot's max digits in speedometer. Plzz...help. And diz engine has done only 58000 KM !! And i run diz on octane-95.
