Heres and oldie maori classic...from the opening of 'Te Papa' museum....Wellington; New Zealand. Have seen alot of old skool maori songs on here...havent come across this one so I thought Id share it. Hope you all enjoy!!!!!

  • @uremysunset The actual song was written by my Cousin Linda HuHu from Mangatu Tuini Ngawai changed the words The original song was called >Mangatu E< our group sang it on our Marae for some visitors from the East Coast Auntie Tuini liked the tune so much she changed the words to 'Haere Mai'. Thought I'd just clarify a few facts My cousin has now past on RIP Cuzzy.

  • i luv Cara Pewhairangi she blew me away back then and i still get goose bumps now thank god for the internet for giving me access to the past i expected cara to be on tv i havnt seen her face

  • I prefer the version of just the soloist rather than with the club in the background. She has such a nice voice.
