I remember this back in 2007... I was quite amazed to see all the old tree's and sticks get carried off toward the Dam. I remember a storm a few years before that, that tore through the woods... Out on the Osage Arm bridge there were huge piles of wood sitting in the water...

I live in warsaw missouri i rember the dam being like that an i was up by the viseter center when it was like that i thought the dam was going to break

D: i remember that, 4 cows got stuck in it and died D: poor things i was swimming at the cliffs the day after that and the water was sooo high it was only like a 2 ft drop from the 9 ft cliff

did the log come out ? I can see that could creat a problem, never thought about it much, but if a hole lot of logs got in ther that could be bad for the dam?

Well, I went about a month later and the gates were shut tight, so yes it came out. I was suprised the log sank down to that level though. The gates don't create a lot of suction. And yes, a lot of logs can mess up the dam, but it would have to be a TON!
