This lovely ballad by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn is from the 1945 film Anchors Aweigh and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. It was recorded on December 1, 1944 in New York with Axel Stordahl conducting. The pianist was Dave Mann. Originally released as a 78 RPM record, it can found on the Voice: The Columbia Years 1943-1952 CD and in the box set, The Columbia Years 1943-1952: The Complete Recordings.
