...And Justice for Jason
Blackened

Lyrics (Letra de la Cancion)

Blackened is the end
Winter it will send
Throwing all you see
Into obscurity

Death of mother earth
Never a rebirth
Evolutions end
Never will it mend

Never

Fire
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Color our world blackened

Bustering of earth
Terminate its worth
Deadly nicotine
Kills what might have been

Callous frigid chill
Nothing left to kill
Never seen before
Breathing nevermore

Never

Fire
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Color our world blackened

Blackened

Opposition...contradiction...premonition...compromise
Agitation...violation...mutilation...planet dies
Darkest color
Blistered earth
True death of life
Termination....expiration...cancellation...human race
Expectation...liberation...population...lay to waste
See our mother
Put to death
See our mother die

Smouldering decay
Take her breath away
Millions of our years
In minutes disappears

Darkening in vain
Decadence remains
All is said and done
Never is the sun

Never

Fire
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Fire
Is the outcome of hypocrisy
Darkest potency
In the exit of humanity
Color our world blackened

  • 2 questions:

1.) Is this an added bass overdub or the original mix through enhanced software?

2.) This was Flemming Rasmussen's last record, but who did the initial mix? I know this is might sound taboo among Metallica fans, but I think Megadeth's Rust In Peace suffered the same lack-of-bass curse...

Both are exceptional albums that pinnacle each band at the height of their creativity.

  • @deadcatautopsy87 The Black Album was a piece of shit, and the rest is history.

  • Metallica may as well have not even had a bassist at all, especially on this album. I was only ever able to hear Jason playing at live concerts. The studio only ever produced trebel-tinged, mediocre, and crappy recordings of their music.

  • @Vic0950 Robert Trujillio* And he's not shit he's actually one of the best bassist not opinion....Like Steve Vai is a Terrific guitarist

  • @MetaITV

definately not. this was the peak of their complexity, progressive songwriting style, and their original style. the Black album is a pop rock album.

  • this album is MOP and Black album together. makes sense right?

  • @Vic0950 robert are best that jason

  • @ViciousGuitarist

I'm not. Nor am I talking just about skill. Skill wise, Trujilo takes the win, but stage presence? Jason is a fucking monster.

  • @jeleopard BEST BE JOKING

  • how come &fmt=18 doesnt work sometimes

  • @danielexplosion

they got two guys named Thompson and Barbiero for the mixing
