I just wanted to say thank you for posting this because I honestly never thought I would get a chance to see his grave since it is in a private part of the Cemetery! Even seeing it just on here was helpful for me! I have been a huge Sammy Davis fan for years and just started reading all the books on him again! His journey has helped me on my journey and all I wanted was a chance to see his grave...Thank you again!!!

so ya all have a key to where he is buried? i ask because i know where he is buried(glendale forest lawn) but it is locked to the general public, do you have somoene you know buried in there? this is the same place wehre michael jackson is buried

We just went into the office and matter-of-factly asked for the key to that area. We did not mention Sammy Davis, Jr. The woman there gave us the key. I don't know if she was supposed to or not.

For God's sake, take it easy on these guys...everyone looks a little less intelligent on home movies...think about it. They're not diggin people up or anything...and I wish I lived out that way so I could see some of these gravesights too. Just because they happen to walk across the grass and maybe over someone's grave doesn't mean sh*t. They're dead!!! Trust me, it's the least of their worries.....don't take it so hard just because the man is wearing a sleevless shirt...it's hot out there!

Hey CDM you are wrong about that! He was in debt but the removable of his body for jewelery is untrue. As a matter of fact Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and others took care of his back taxes as well as his funeral. It's amazing HOW FAMOUS these people were in life and how lonely their graves are. That shows that we are truly but a whisper in this life.

@kara1464 If Sammy didnt want the attention maybe he should have spent his life doing something more low key. Thats the price of fame and getting rich...and famous people know this too...even though they complain about it. Its a trade off...make millions...but your never left alone. Even in death.
