Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - 1996 World Figure Skating Championships, Men's Long Program (Thanks to WMG, I had to re-edit this clip and muted out the Eagles' music used in the slow section) - Steven Cousins of Great Britain experienced one of those disastrous skates here where he just could not do his triple jumps. Landing only the easiest ones, he would place 18th in the Long Program and ended up dropping from 5th to 15th Place overall.
Regardless of the falls, I LOVED his musical choices. Anyone who skates to "November Rain" has my vote :)

2:27 - 4:05 is the best commentary I have heard from Dick Button!

A great shame. He had the chance to medal at Europeans that year and lost it on the Long but it was still superior to this. I really felt for him - the best British skater since Robin but way under marked in a lot of events.
