My tribute to Floor Jansen

In my opinion, Floor Jansen is the best female singer in metal because her vocal style is extremely varied: opera, rock, pop, ... very different styles, but anyhow this is no problem for Floor! See (or better: listen) for yourself! :)

Probably the most powerful singer I've ever heard overall. Irregardless of gender or the type of music being sung to. Her voice is just absolutely amazing. It's one of those weird things, where I'm almost envious of her being able to sing like that, because it's like shes able to attain a level of beautiful human potential that most of us will never know.

I dunno if there's one thing as "THE" best but surely she's among the best 5 if not 3... and SHE'S 30! She still has a lot of time to further improve, learn... after 45 maybe her voice will weaken (that happens! it's just nature) but until then she can only grow. I discovered her recently and she's quickly become my favourite though Simone too is great...

And yes, Floor is also beautiful. Not a rail-thin silicone-laden pop idol, she's a real woman, a warrior princess...
