Everybody that says that religous extrimest and ignorant people voted yes, and it was 52 to 48 then its the only reason. What if it dint pass, 52 to 48 in favor of NO. The other side would say the exact same thing. So dont make up lies, the other feels the exact same. You win, your happy, you loose, you pissed. Its what makes us Americans. lol. I personlly am Glad it passed. I looked for the personal traits, not the constitiuion, idc, i wanted it for my personal life,so did other ppl.

You wanted to ban gay marriage for your own "personal life"? What does that mean? Are you constantly being bombarded with marriage proposals from gay men or something?

And what "personal traits" are you referring to? Sorry to be so nosey, but truly ignorant people intrigue me. I've always wondered what causes one to be so full of hate, but so lacking in intelligence.

i think that as long as it's not infringing on anyone else's right (for example, no children wives, no child abuse, but consenting adults) then do we really have the right to stop it?
I think that about same sex marriage- if you don't like two consenting adults getting married then don't go to their wedding.

You stated 2 consenting adults. Why not siblings then? & why not immediate relatives then? & why not allow for more than 2 persons? Allowing for polygamy has been the norm in history.

Please provide an example of two siblings whose relationship started after the age of consent who wish to get married. (Incest is almost universally tied to child abuse, and the very very very rare cases where it isn't those people normally don't realize it is incestuous and when they discover it, they normally do not wish to marry).

And more than two people have a whole host of issues two people of the same sex do not have.

did you know that old fashioned royalty is based purely on the idea of inner family breeding? and whoever believes and supports in the idea of adam and eve...you are also supporting the idea of incest. i don't think there is anything wrong with siblings getting married, except when it ties into child abuse.
and polygamy is the same situation. if there are consenting (consenting being the key word) adults, there is nothing wrong with it.
