The hay day of racing before technology took all the fun out of it. Technology (ie electronics) is wonderful, but it is not as fun as it once was. They raced by the seat of their pants, shot from the hip. Intuition played a huge role, hunches were played. Now, computers give it all to you in .00000000001 seconds. Oh well, technology has taken the human factor out of everything.
