Anna Galeyeva - Tragic Story of my Disabled Daughter

My daughter Anna Galeyeva is a 28 year old severely developmentally disabled person who suffers from cerebral palsy, severe seizure disorder and depression. She has a mental capacity of a 6 year old.

A few years ago there was an incident at home where Anna became violent and as a result police was called. Instead of being put in a special hospital a criminal case was opened (against a person with a mental capacity of a child) and she was taken away from me. She was then placed into a group home, where she is being repeatedly abused, beaten and overdosed on medication.

Every time I visit my daughter she has new injuries and bruises. Anna is not able to speak for herself and cannot explain to others how she received her injuries. She vomits almost every day from being overdosed with medication.

Her placement at a group home located in Torrance, CA was made by Harbor Regional Center. One of her housemates recently became pregnant!

I've exhausted all my efforts in trying to bring her back home. The social organizations provide false information to court because they don't want her to leave, since they receive $18,000 per month from the government for every person in their care.

She is a special person with special needs and she is not being treated the right way. She needs to be at home with me but all my efforts have failed.

Please help me spread the word about this ongoing situation, by daughter's life depends on it!!! I'm in the desperate situation, and don't know what else to do. My daughter is in the group home continuously getting abused, please help me bring my daughter back home!!!
