This is the fire alarm we woke up to while staying on the Queen Mary. Luckily it was just a false alarm.

Heidi and I loved spending the weekend at the Queen Mary Hotel. It's such a beautiful ship and the hotel staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back if we get the chance. We stayed in the Duke of Edinburgh Suite.

  • YEP I KNEW IT! Exactly what i was thinking of!

  • the worst alarm..i wouldnt wake up to that

  • "Whoever set that off I'm gonna kill them!" lol

  • @Voyage400 The Queen Mary is no longer being used as a ship. It has been converted to a hotel

  • @Gb755c Probably was either a short in the system, or an open mic.

  • Can't be fire-lite, it has to be Notifier. But I don't think cruise ships use conventional VECP systems, they are suppose to have 7 beeps then one long tone to denote a evacuation of the ship.

  • @HomeVideoPresents Fire doors were set to close

  • Why did it switch from the fire lite voice evac to the steady buzzer and back again?

  • Fire-Lite Voice Evac with a slow whoop
