Hawaiian Airlines first Airbus A330 makes a low pass before landing for the first time in Hawaii. Sorry for the shakiness, I barely had enough time to get my camera out and record it.
@tparaiso601 A350 is another 787, Emirates ordered ANOTHER 50 77W's in response to the failure of the A350, and Etihad ordered more 789's few days ago in response to the failure of the A350. All Airbus's planes were responses to Boeing's aircrafts. They never made their own plane yet..
@wowdude999 They have no need for multiple types of aircraft. The 717 is a terrific aircraft, and I attribute that to the fact MD made it. Boeing is overrated by us Americans, Airbus is just as good! Look at UA, they are purchasing a ton of A350s. I don't blame them!
@hamogunjafarmer Airlines dumped the 787 because of the delays....I asked HAL why they chose A330's and they said if best fits their demand. They dont need 777's on Island to Mainland routes, the A332 has enough range for them to be flexable. But HAL better order some Boeings or im going back to UA/CO
I've flown on HA 330's to Vegas, it was great. Not sure about what goes on in the cockpit? If they were not reliable why did many operators dumped the Boeing 787 and not wait?
@MrNeedsdecaf Thats true. That was when it first entered service. Now you never hear the plane crashing. Every time something happens the A330 was the cause of it. In the years i have been flying the A330 has been the plane with the problem. Now it is the problem. in the 80s when i was flying the L-1011 and DC-10 For Delta. The DC-10 Was the problem. Just keep watching. The A330 Will make a record one day for the most crashed and incidents.

@WorldAirwaysMD11 We never hear DC-10s crash anymore since it's already phased out, and most DC-10s are now freighters.
All planes will have their own incidents, even the 777 has its faults (and that's coming from a 777 fan)

@WorldAirwaysMD11 The DC-10 was a deathtrap for passengers when it first entered service. It claimed a lot more lives than the A330 has.
