Windoc Bridge Accident

I read an article that said the bridge operator was under the influence, drunk or overworked, either way he should have refused to work and sighted under medical care, and then they couldn't fire him.

What about the naked prostitute running aft from the starbord accommodation door??? not visable in this vid, but clearly visable from the east bank of the welland cannal?

Because of the uninformed comments here, let me explain the real story. The bridge operator was in no condition to work that day, but was forced overtime (work or you're fired). He was sick and on medications (Codeine and cough medicine) that caused him to not be in a normal state. Inform yourselves before you make assumptions

unfortunately, the bridge op was drinking on the job, THAT is what he was doing!
(He was lucky that no one died or he'd have been facing a manslaughter charge!)

The bridge operator was very drunk at the time, he lost his job needless to say.

Needless to say the bridge won this one. I also don't believe the captain will be piloting boats for a while unless it is at an amusement Park.
