Avistamiento cercano de orcas en Johnstone Strait (Canadá)

2 o más familias de orcas (residentes) pasan al lado y por debajo de nuestro barco en el estrecho de Johnstone, entre la Isla de Vancouver y la Isla de Hanson (Canadá). Algo bastante poco habitual. La excursión la hicimos a través de "Stubbs Island Whale Watching" y quedamos muy contentos con la tripulación y la bióloga marina. Muy formativos y amenos (5/sep/2008)

2 or more orca families (Northern resident) pass by and beneath our boat at Johnstone Strait between Vancouver Island and Hanson Island (Canada). This happens very seldom. We arranged the trip through "Stubbs Island Whale Watching" and the crew and the marine biologist were very formative and enjoyable. (5/sep/2008)

We were really lucky the orcas came so close. The crew biologist was very excited about that and told us it was very unusual. I'm sure she took lots of pictures...

Beautiful video these orcas are in a resting line their sleeping I saw this in 2010 when I went whale watching I sure did take alot of pictures as well great footage and thanks for sharing.
