"The beauty of dancing had captured me when I was very young — feeling like my being was just for the purpose of dancing," says Queens College dance professor Yin Mei Critchell. Awarded a Fulbright U.S. Scholar grant and a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation's Multi-Arts Production Fund, Yin Mei will teach an interdisciplinary course on contemplative dance at Hong Kong Baptist University and work with students to recreate "Chung Kuo," a 1972 documentary on China by director Michelangelo Antonioni.
