Incredible movie and great sequence. The kid with the hula hoop is just fantastic. Look at his right feet and neck going with the tempo.

This is one of those examples of art that is just SO perfectly WHAT IT SETS OUT TO BE. The intergration of the wonderfully adapted music of Khachaturian with the images, all propelling the story forward... masterful! Never understood why this film is not usually ranked higher in the Coen Brothers canon. It's absolutely one of my favorites! Thanks for posting this sequence. I can and have and will continue to watch it again and again.

The part starting at 7:20 is the Sabre Dance. Wiki says "The piece was arranged and integrated into the wider score by Carter Burwell", so I presume the 5:00-7:20 part was originally composed for the movie.
