@Mandalark You don't compete in obedience do you! And that wasn't a question, it was a statement.

I was really impressed with the heelwork and thought you were a R+ trainer up until 55 seconds when you put him in a stay and scolded him by jerking his head up and pointing a finger at his face. Too bad. :(

It's amusing to see how different the styles of obedience are. He heels nicely - though according to the new rules in Finland the judges would most likely say he's too close. :D Also, the prancing looks a bit amusing, but in a cute way. Also, you're apparently allowed to have eye contact with the dog? Here.. not at all. We can't even give hand signals when competing. Unofficials are different but when competing everything has to work through voice command only. But yeah, he's an awesome dog!

Nice! He is Fabulous, LOVE Him. I teach the same style, it is fun for me and the dog. I am not getting as much as a front end lift, but I am happy so far. I do wish our heeling patterns in the states were longer to let you really work the dog. By the time we start heeling; it is over! Very nice work.

What type of leash is that? is it made for your dog to tug with? i really like that.

Very impressive!

This dog is not 7 months. It's way to big.

Not that I am complaining about this dog at all, lol but why do you teach them to prance like a gaited horse when they walk with you? Is it to look showy? I notice its a very AKC thing to do, just curious why. Beautiful dog though!

Well, this is UK obedience not AKC. We teach the drive 'up' which produces a 'trot'. If you look at my other dog's video you'd notice that he doesn't 'trot', just walks. In the UK we do think it looks quite stylish though. :o)
