Two paranormal investigators are in this historic tavern in Chepachet, R.I. with a former emplyee after closing time. The former employee has been telling the two investigators about all the strange things that have happened at the tavern. The camera (on a tripod) is blocked off in a non-traffic area of the dining and is pointing at a spot where one of the many ghosts is seen. As the investigators discuss a part of the story they have just heard, the former waitress walks away and moves out and around the camera and moves to a far corner as she points out the fact that there are pictures missing from her days at the tavern. The camera has a wide wooden column behind it that is blocking it from the investigator's view. They are the only three people in the room and nobody is near the camera. The difference in the camera's angle was noticed at the end of the night, but the dramatic way in which it moved was not seen util the footage was watched the next day. One of the ghosts in this building has been known to move things with force.

  • Camera moving? There are to many people in the room moving around. looks like it may have been bumped. If there was noone in the room, witth another camer with full view of this camera when it supposedly moed on its own, then theres a chance of being paranormal.

  • @PARTSMAN681 You didn't read the info did you? There were three of us in the room and no one was near the camera. The camera was placed in a non-traffic area with it's back blocked by a support column. Not only do you make comments without thinking first, you can't write or spell as well.

  • omg im so scared im going there on feb 23 2010 for a ghost dinner!! can you tell me what to expect?

  • Good food. Good service. Great atmosphere. Nothing to be scared of. Bring a camera and an audio recorder. Who knows, you might catch something. Make sure you leave your e-mail address with D'Agostino, he will e-mail you any EVPs he and his team might capture. Have fun!

  • It looked like it was hit pretty hard.

  • Yes it does. I was hit with an antique washboard in the upstairs hall. A glass exploded in the tap room and a TV came up and off it's shelf and went at a guy who was saying there are no such things as ghosts. He has never come back to the Tavern. We have learned of three other haunts along the same road and a fourth nearby.

  • I walked into the batthroom at this place many years back(5+) and the water was running all by itself..the 3 people at the bar said no one was in there for along time.

  • Yes.

  • In our old house this thing threw books and matchbox cars at us.

  • Really interesting catch there. It`s a pity though it wasn`t caught on a second camera as that would silence the "skeptics"..

I realise (through my own experience) that the opportunity (as described) is a rare one, but nethertheless I think a great catch.
