Patrick Ginter, the street artists as he's often refereed to, is holding a show at the Dunn Bros Coffee Shop, Freight House location in Downtown Minneapolis through the 28th of February. The upstairs lounge is filled with scenes of the Stone Arch Bridge, Lake Calhoun, Downtown Minneapolis, and portraits of world renowned rockstars. His plein air paintings are influenced by abstract expressionism, giving them a very colorful yet unique look. The prints of his original paintings are a great alternative if you want to have a piece of Patrick Ginter. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Jabbok Women's Center and the American Red Cross' Haiti Relief Fund.

I just purchased a print of his Bob Dylan portrait. I bought it without knowing who he was, then I googled him when I got home. I was shocked when I realized I know him, sort of. I used to work at Guitar Center in Roseville MN and he used to come in and play some incredible blues guitar.
